OVERVIEW

Thermo Fisher Scientific has launched 3 new isothermal amplification products supporting RPA, RCA, and LAMP techniques. The first, a lyo-ready protein set for RPA isothermal amplification amplifies nucleic acid templates in low temperatures and in a short time. Second, the new EquiPhi29™ DNA Amplification Kit for sensitive and efficient rolling circle amplification (RCA) and multiple displacement amplification – whole genome amplification (MDA-WGA). EquiPhi29 DNA Polymerase is the engineered mutant that possesses strong strand displacement activity and enables high product yield and low amplification bias important in sequencing applications. Third, the new Invitrogen Lyo-ready Bst DNA Polymerase for (RT)-LAMP isothermal amplification, the best-in-class enzyme demonstrating the highest speed. Together with the lyo-ready SuperScript IV reverse transcriptase, it offers the fastest solution for pathogen diagnostics using RT-LAMP.
