Poster Guidelines Now Available

General Requirements

The following general requirements pertain to all submitted poster abstracts and presented posters:

  • Fees/Membership: There is no fee for submission and ADLM membership is not required for abstract submission or poster presentation.
  • Submitter: (New in 2024) All poster abstracts must be submitted by the presenting author via the ADLM Poster Portal. The presenting author will be listed first in the author block. It is not possible to submit an abstract on behalf of another presenter.
  • Multiple Submissions: Presenters may submit multiple poster abstracts, providing that the content is different. Submission of multiple poster abstracts with similar content may result in the rejection of one or more submissions.
  • Prior Publication: The content must not have been previously published in a copyrighted, peer-reviewed journal, such as Clinical Chemistry Journal, by any one or more of the submitting authors prior to the Annual Meeting. This does not apply to previous publication in an ADLM local section or division newsletter or publication in conference proceedings that are distributed to conference attendees.
  • Advertising: Poster abstracts may not contain any type of advertising or logos.
  • Abstract Publication: If accepted, portions of the abstract — including title, author information, and body — will appear in the mobile app and online program, and in the printed program guide. If presented at the meeting, the abstract will also be included in a supplement published in Clinical Chemistry Journal.
  • Presenting Multiple Posters: (New in 2024) Presenters may present no more than 5 posters.
