CLEAR Health Pass Instructions

The CLEAR Health Pass is only available for attendees and exhibitors with vaccination records from the United States. All attendees and exhibitors from localities other than the United States must provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result at an Entry Requirements Help Desk inside the McCormick Place Convention Center.

Be sure to complete your CLEAR Health Pass at least 72 hours before arriving at the conference. To do so:

  1. Download the free CLEAR app.

  2. Select the white Health Pass button on the home screen.

  3. Select “Have a code?” and enter AACC22 OR find AACC Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo in the Event section.

  4. Create a free account by uploading a photo of a government-issued ID, such as a driver’s license, and then snap a quick selfie to confirm your identity.
    • Already a member? Simply log in and verify with a selfie.

  5. Follow prompts to upload your proof of vaccination (including a booster shot) OR negative COVID-19 PCR test result. You can securely upload a photo of your CDC card, scan a SMART QR code, upload a photo or PDF of test results, or link to test results directly through your healthcare provider.
    • Need to add a booster to your existing Health Pass? Select “update vaccination” to take a photo of your CDC card with the up-to-date information.

  6. When you arrive at McCormick Place Convention Center, reopen the Health Pass tile and produce your pass, which AACC staff will check at the Entry Requirement Help Desk. Green is good to go!

CLEAR’s Privacy Policy

With CLEAR, you are always in control of your information. AACC only receives confirmation that an attendee satisfied the meeting’s COVID-19 safety requirements with the equivalent of a green result — and never has access to an individual’s private health data.
